My sister-in-law sent me an urgent text message this morning, asking my opinion on a “new” website/technically advanced service that her daughter wanted her to use.
Apparently, my dear niece, whom is two states away at college, forgot to grab her wallet from her mother’s house when she headed back out on Monday – the girl would forget her head is it wasn’t attached, but it seems to run in my ex-husband’s family, as most of them are that way.
Anyway, back to the point of the story… My niece, of course, wants her mom to ship out the wallet immediately, but in the mean time, she’s flat broke and has no way to access her own checking account, of which is through a local (to her mother) bank. So could her mother please send her a check through this “new” service that her friend’s business uses where you can send a check by phone or fax, so that she can cash it and have money immediately.
Okay, so I’ve been paying my bills over the phone for when to take cialis years with “electronic checks”, so I don’t exactly see what’s so new about it, other than maybe the fact that anyone can sign up for this service? Which could be great for some small businesses, especially ones that take catalog or phone orders.
My advice to my sister-in-law, send the girl the money, but as always keep an eye on your account. I know she’s a big online spender – so she should always be keeping an buying prescription drugs online without a prescription eye on her accounts to begin with…
