the saddest yard sale

I’m not a big yard saler, like the rest of my family.  They’ll stop at any yard sale no matter where or when it is.  I have a rule about stopping – unless the house where the yard sale is at is nicer than mine, I won’t stop.  I just dislike digging through other people’s garbage, and I feel like I rarely find a good deal.  I don’t have yard sales either, I give away the things we don’t want, or hubby drops it off at Goodwill.

But I’m starting to feel like maybe I’m missing out on some real deals because of my theory.  My sister just picked natural cialis alternatives up a solid oak pedestal table with the chairs (almost identical to mine, which sold for $1900 new, more than five years ago, but was given to me when a friend died a few years back, because I had helped her pick it out and her husband hated it) for $50, my Gram got a beautiful set of patio furniture for $20 and my mom found a full set of all clad copper core cookware (it retails for around $1500) for $125.

I’m jealous!  Maybe I’m starting to wish I had the yard saling gene that the rest of my family has…  But then I remember that I did get my daughter a whole new wardrobe for like $30 at a friend’s yard sale, and I feel a little better.  But I’d still kill to have that set of pans or the outside furniture, especially at those prices!

Hmm… To yard sale drugs no prescription or not to yard sale, that is the question!
