Out of the mouths of teens…

Son:  Boy Mom, these pickles are garlic-y.  Just like the pork roast last night.  What’s up with you and the garlic lately.

Me:  I like garlic.  It keeps the vampires away.

Son:  Hmm…  I’d have thought you be trying to attract them, instead of keeping them away.  You seem to like them. (Referring to my recent addiction to Twilight, along with a healthy selection cialis cheap drugs online pill splitter of other vampire books that I’ve had for years.)

Well, at least I now know that he does pay attention to what I read.

That is funny. It is surprising exactly how aware our children are. Especially Teens. The biggest reason is they don’t care to share with us. After all we are of a different generation.
    Have a good day.

I really never thought he paid attention to the books and such that I leave lying around (unless of course it’s one I borrowed off of him), but he surely surprised me with that comment!
