Being a work at home mom, my office is a part of the house, actually it was originally the dining room, which makes it a high traffic area of the house, right beside the kitchen, and the only way into the kitchen from inside. It’s one of the sore points between my husband and I, because the rest of the house can be spotless, and my office will be piled high with folders and school projects, boxes full of discs, and miscellaneous computer parts, mixed with candy wrappers, dog tags, medicine boxes and occasionally a stray toy.
The thing is, it’s not all my mess. My desk somehow becomes the catch all. Every piece of paper in the house ends up there eventually, whether it’s mine or not. But that doesn’t cialis sales online really bother me. I’m used to digging through stacks of stuff to find what I need.
What really drives me crazy is having someone, anyone, including my hubby and kids, sitting at my desk. buy antibiotics online It feels like I’ve been violated, like they went digging through my underwear drawer or something. It doesn’t matter whether they’re just sitting there filling out a form, or whether they’re risking the wrath of mom by actually touching my computer. (They all have their own, and by now should know better than to as much as wiggle my trackball.)
Heck, I think I’d rather have them dig through my underwear drawer than to touch my computer, there’s nothing they can screw up in there, but my computer is like a ticking time bomb. The last time I let my daughter and husband use my computer, they somehow deleted my DVD drive, and renamed my hard drive, along with other small annoying things, like changing settings and such, nothing major, but enough to really irritate me.
So they’ve pretty much learned not to mess with my computer, but it doesn’t stop them from sitting at my desk. To everyone else, my desk may be a total disaster area, but to me I know where everything is. Well, that is until someone else sits down and starts moving piles around, messing up my system.
Even my father is guilty of it, and he doesn’t even live here! But dear old hubby is the worst, he even opens up drawers! And that’s like the equivalent of putting on my underwear!
Does having your office occupied by someone else bother you?

No, I don’t mind anyone sitting at my desk or using my computer, just so long as they return everything to normal and the way that they found it when they first sat down.

Yes it does bother me when somebody else is in the place where I am working …it really irritates me to hell.
I love my hubby but sometimes when he decide he’s gonna stay and work from home because he’s not really needed to be at the office to work – I cannot work because he would be interrupting my thoughts all the time.

Totally true! I hate seeing a different wallpaper on my computer and you can really tell when someones been fondling around with it!
I think they just motivate you to don’t ever have a messy office desk.
I am so glad that I’m not alone on this. My husband thinks I’m just picky about it.
Jade – my hubby is the same way – too distracting to work around. I swear on the days he’s home, he’s worse than the kids, with his needing constant attention.
