The last few days since I’ve been doped up on cold medicine, and haven’t worked much, has made me realize just how much I miss working on my own sites.  I get so busy with all my client work, ghost writing and listening to clients complain, that I never seem to have much time for my own stuff, the stuff I really enjoy working on.  I’ve posted more, commented more, and read more in the last few days than I usually have time for in a month.  Just me and my laptop curled up on the couch, wrapped up tight in my blankets.

I love being able to share my own thoughts and anecdotes with my friends and readers.  I love being able to do my own thing, without sticking to a very rigid schedule.  Without worrying about deadlines, or pleasing other people.  Without the stress that comes with self-employment.

I miss this – just being acomplia buy drugs online canadian pharmacies me!  So my goal for the next few months, is to lighten my work load and spend more time doing what I love to do!  We’ve all got to learn to take some time for ourselves, I think!  It keeps us from burning out so quick!

I know how you feel, I love to update my own sites but clients sites take a little more effort. If I could just work on code all day long and get someone else to worry about all the articles I come up with ideas for that would be perfect!

You might want to change the way commentluv outputs it’s text, it’s adding a link back to your site in the middle.

Most days I could do without working on the coding – that’s the part I’d rather hand over to someone else… But then we don’t always get what we want! ;)

It’s not commentluv that’s doing that Andy, it’s a plugin called Linked. It just picks up tag words and links them to posts. Not sure why it would pick up the word blog though. But thank you for pointing it out – I’ll look into it!
