LCD HDTV - It's Worth it!

LCD HDTV - It is well worth it!

We were always hearing how great the LCD HDTVs are from my husband’s best friend, so this past spring when our Flat screen TV died, we bought and LCD TV to replace it. Since we knew we were going to build this summer, we never bothered to subscribe to the HDTV service, we figured we’d wait until we were in the new place.

So when they hooked up our new satellites a few weeks ago, we had them install the HD service. I never really expected much of a difference in the picture quality, as to me just the regular picture on the LCD TV was amazing compared to our old screen.

I was wrong! I admit it. (See, I do admit when I’m wrong.) The high definition channels are amazing. I love it. I really just started noticing a difference the last few days, as I’ve actually had some time to spend in front of the old boob tube. I took a liking to the DVR as soon as we got it, but most of the shows I like aren’t on channels that had high def available.

Now that I’ve watched a few movies in HD though, I’m hooked. I want all my shows like that! (Come on local stations – get up to date and give me Lipstick Jungle in HD!)

The picture quality is amazing, I really never thought it would drugs without prescription rival the picture quality of my computer, but it does!

Last night at dinner, my younger brother in law and my husband were having the same discussion that my husband’s best friend used to have with us. My brother in law was saying that there can’t be much of a difference between the two, while my husband was trying to explain that there is. So they stopped over on their way home, and I think we made a believer out of him. My husband turned on a sports channel and immediately he was impressed.

So if you’re in the need of a new Boob Tube – it’s definitely worth checking into the new LCD HDTV. The price difference in minimal, or at least it was in our area, as it was almost impossible to find a tube television, but the picture quality is maximum!

Ladies – just acomplia dosage don’t let your husbands touch the DVR – or you’ll lose all your favorite shows!

I do have to agree with you that it does make a big difference between HD and normal. I was really surprised when we switched. Where I an the local channels have HD and they look awesome, but I don’t watch your show. The only problem with HD channels is when you record the shows. The HD format takes up more disk space on your DVR than the other show, I believe almost double. So, when you record HD watch out that you don’t run out of disk space.

Oh, and for not touching the DVR, In my house it is the other way around. My wife doesn’t touch it but if she does and doesn’t know what to do then she calls me at work or waits until I get home. :-P

I’m jealous – your locals are in high-def? I haven’t even gotten close to running out of space – even before he deleted everything (some 79 or so items) it still told me that I had over 300hrs left free.

I wish Russ knew not to touch things! I still can’t get over the fact that everything I had is gone… It makes me want to cry!

Western PA must be the only place that doesn’t have high def available for locals. That sucks!

Always having fun Divorce Records! ;)
