Well, we survived the weekend with a truckload of fuel sitting in the driveway. Having a house guest whom slept in his truck wasn’t too bad – but his truck blocked our driveway, and he couldn’t back down to the bottom, so I had to walk clear up to the top to our vehicles, in the rain – which irritates me…  People kept calling and asking why we had a tanker in the driveway.  My father wondered how I had convinced the fuel company to fill my tank at 9pm on Friday night, I’m sure I can only imagine how he thought I had managed that… I am his daughter after all…

It rained on Saturday so we skipped the outdoor events that we were supposed to attend and ended up at his cousin’s wedding reception – which much to our dismay ended up outdoors too…  The groom got trashed, the bride got into a fight with her maid of honor, and the creek flooded ending the party before 9pm.  So it was much like my first wedding…  But we did get to catch up with hubby’s other cousin who was up from Atlanta for the event.

Yesterday I made and canned tomato sauce all day…  Fun, fun…
