I’m getting more into texting on my Samsung BlackJack 2 because it allows me to pretend to have a conversation with my friends, while at the same time not letting them bore me to sleep droning on and on in my hear not distracting me so much from my work.
But when it comes to important texts, such as when I’m giving hubby the shopping list, I always worry over whether or not my text is actually going through. Yeah, I get that ‘message sent’ pop up, but just because the message was sent, it doesn’t mean that it was actually received on the other end.
What happens when someone texts you, but your phone is off, or in an out of service area, are those texts lost out in text land, or do they just hang around cialis free shipping waiting for that person to get back ‘online’?

It’s actually nice to know if they have received it for sure, but for now we have to be content with someone replying to make sure that they got the txt.

The just wait till the person comes back into range dont worry so much the mobile telephone people have thought it all through…
All texts are stored in a computer until the phone that is the receiver is online and can receive it. So it is not lost, but you aren’t having any garanti that he is receiving it either, because it can goes days before the phone is online…..

Good question! I wonder the same thing about email sometimes. I never know if someone actually got it.

The text is not lost. It simply goes in waiting position for some predefined period of time. If receiving phone is active within that time, it will receive that waiting msg. Otherwise deleted.

Yes, I have also wondered the same thing. I am not quite sure how it works! But am glad that is works that way. I would hate to not get texts at all if the phone is off. Pressure to always have the phone on would be irritating. But yes, I am a texting fanatic!
