Yep, just before Christmas, I spilt (with the help of the dogs) a glass of chocolate milk on his computer, and ruined it. But my desktop was scheduled to be replaced this spring even before this happened, I've spent more time fixing it lately than using it. So we're getting ready to order two new computers, a desk top and a laptop here in a few weeks. I can't wait! I wouldn't have even dreamed of trying to plug in a vacuum on the old circuit here, I'm so glad it got rewired so that it's no longer a problem. But a little angry too, because the house in only 18 months old, and already we had to rewire it? To me that doesn't bode well for the future. Although it is mostly our fault, it was supposed to be a dining room, not an office with two computers, tons of other electronics and a mid-size chest freezer... I applaud your memory!
