Twitter – it’s one of the most popular applications out there, heck, even my husband’s 89 year old grandmother has a twitter account.
Me, I don’t twitter much. I read a lot of tweets daily, but I rarely have any random where to buy prescription drugs without prescription thought that I think needs to go out to the masses. But I do love how Twitter integrates into wordpress, and my flock browser, I never actually have to go to my twitter page, everyone’s tweets show up right on my homepage in flock, along with my facebook friends. I like having everyone in one place. It’s easy, it’s convenient.
But all I ever see is other people’s updates, never what my own account is posting.
So it blew my mind today when I logged into my actual twitter page to figure out how to set it up on my cell phone and saw all these tweets that I never sent. Apparently my twitter account was breached at some point and about 200 direct tweets sent out, on November 27-28, 2009. I apologize to everyone who received that crap, and hopefully have the problem fixed.
I guess there’s something to be said about checking on each account every how cialis works once in a while, instead of relying on only what I can see through Flock and a WordPress Dashboard Twitter plugins.

Oh, this is interesting. I’ll have to check this one out. I have ping.fm which allows me to post to either Facebook or Twitter, or both. I’ll have to see what this one has to offer.

I like Flock and have been using it for more than a year now.
I use tweetdeck. I can see all the tweets of the twitterers I’m following, I see who twitters directly to me and I can see who mails me.
When I send a tweet I see it appear at twitter.
Perfect control.
Happy new year!

I will have to look into that one – it would be nice to see the tweets I’ve written too, as who knows how many spelling errors I make when I tweet something really quickly! Thanks for the suggestion!
I use twitter all the time, so I’m always on the lookout for ways to make it easier. That is a bit scary, however, that your account was breached.

Yes, it was quite a surprise!
I’m a Twitter neophyte and can’t find the time to really get into it and explore the features. I guess one of these days I’ll finally sit down and do that. Must have been worrying though to find out your account was hacked.

I think what bothered me the most was realize that it had been over a month ago that it happened and I hadn’t noticed it until now… Guess I’m not really that “on top” of things…
I don’t get it. I do have Twitter and sometimes make a comment; don’t really see much advantage to it though. Can’t figure out why everyone raves so about it. I don’t know what frock is, have only heard reference to it once or twice.
Question for you with regard to the large list of Do Follow Blogs. So many aren’t active, some aren’t really blogs, but webpages filled with advertisements. Is there anyone who filters the list?
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years

I can see some good points to twitter – it’s almost like texting everyone all at once, and I’m actually starting to use it more now that my family has gone text (?).
As for the Do Follow Blog list, I have to admit I’ve been lax lately and haven’t even looked at it in a few months. It used to be regulated by the blog that started it, but possibly that blogger has quit regulating it. I will look into it and try to find or create a better list of Do Follow blogs.
I am so sorry that you were hacked! That is really stinky. Hopefully no harm was done and everything will work out ok in the end.

Nope, no harm done, just a minor annoyance.
