Life in Fast Forward

Once again life has intruded on my blogging time, and once again it’s my own dang fault for trying to do too many projects in too little of a time period…

Last week’s rundown:

Hubby did finish our daughter’s costume – but it changed radically from what it originally started out to be.  It was cute and funny – if you understood it.  Most people did not.

Hubby decided that he wanted to go out after the kids were done trick or treating, so just before we left to take them, we decided to dress up and go out.  The reason we decided to dress up, was because I spotted a new little black dress that my Gram had picked up for me, when I was digging through the closet looking for something to wear.  I realized that I hadn’t even tried on the dress yet, and well, it looked good.  But the bars around here, that my husband was planning to go to, are not places to wear little black dresses, so the dress quickly turned into a witch costume with a few accessories that I was planning to steal from my daughter’s costume…  So hubby had to find something, he ended up a vampire…  Not very creative of us, but we had fun!

Sunday, we finally got around to painting the living room a sunny apricot color.  It only took me about an hour to convince him that apricot is NOT orange.  But in the end we both ended up loving it…  The only problem is that it seems to accenuate the problem we have with the front room being way too dark to match the rest of the house, and now hubby finally agrees with me, and we’re currently searching for the perfect green that will look great with the sunset yellow of my office and the sunny apricot of the family/living room…  Why is it that one project always leads to another?

Other than that the week and weekend was all tied up with work, work around the house and spending time with the kids and hubby…

Why does it seem like we’re living in fast forward right now, and can’t seem to slow down?

You mean one project isn’t suppose to lead to another? lol Been there way too many times and surely understand what you mean. Even sometlhing as simple as looking for a particular piece of clothing, that you know is there…somewhere. I’ve looked and looked, and well next thing you know you’re cleaning out the closet and the draws in your dresser.

Apricot, sounds pretty, you need to post a picture of your new freshly painted living room so we can see it.
