Tired of the Press….

Okay, so the so called King of Pop died – let’s all just let him rest in peace… I’m so dang tired of reading about him, and apparently so is my hubby. Last night my darling hubby decided to antagonize his face book friends that insist on constantly posting about the pop stars death:

Hubby’s post:

Now thats the american way! Teach your child they can do ANYTHING they want! If they’re FAMOUS! Then die and hold a memorial service for you. You can be a big pop star, and guess what you can also be a PEDIFILE and no one will care! Why cuz your the shit! The american way of teaching the new generation!

The Replies:

1. Jamie wrote: Russell,…Michael wasn’t a Pedophile. He was NEVER convicted,…That’s horrible to say. He was an icon from OUR childhood…a inspiration for some of us. Opinions are like assholes,……like MARLON JACKSON said today, “Maybe now,..people will leave you alone.” Again,..he was NEVER charged, acquitted of ALL charges,…people need to suck it up and… Read More realize,..HE WASN’T A MONSTER TO CHILDREN!! (Why would he do that to children when his own father was a monster to him and his siblings his entire life??? Think about it….)

2. Jen wrote: I disagree on the response from Russell’s post. He was a pedophile. He paid off the families not to convict. Don’t get me wrong loved the music, didn’t like the man. You go Russ!!!

3. Glenn wrote: I got russ’s back on this too..sorry MJ

4. Matt wrote: adult men dont sleep in the same bed with other peoples kids would you let that happen . icon or not . i dont think so

5. TJ wrote: OJ was innocent too , right so he’s technically not a murderer because he wasn’t guilty. It’s a bad joke

6. Mandy wrote: Hate to say this!! I agree with jamie! Sorry all but isn’t that why we have a justice system? We can all debate this but none will truely agree with the next

7. Russ wrote: All I can say to sum everything up is Tj good point! Mandy, I don’t need a justice system to tell me my lawn is green! Jamie his music was great in the day but doesn’t make up for who he really is. Why is a 40 to 50 year old playing with the 5 yr old neighbor hmmm If you go to he didn’t get convicted go to my remark for Mandy! Peace!

My personal favorite was TJ comparing it to OJ!

Michael Jackson has become extremely tiresome. I was never a huge fan (I know, blasphemy) so I am ready for everyone to move past it. There are so many important things going on in the world, I wish the media would pay a little more attention to things I think are news.

Me too – think of all the big scandals we’ve missed hearing about the past two weeks because all anyone can talk about is him… *sigh*

I recently heard that the boy (now a man) who accused him came forward last week and said it wasn’t true. He admitted his family just wanted the money. Just because someone is rich doesn’t mean they paid someone else off. Innocent until proven guilty. Regardless any sins or wrongs he’s done he has to answer to his maker not to us AND those sins don’t cancel out how great his music was. It also doesn’t cancel out how people feel about him.

I, on the other hand, am tired of hearing about it. But to each his own.

And on the other hand, yes, there are also those idiots that will try and get a big pay off from a celebrity, just because they want the money… These are the types of people that I despise the most!

Personally, I rarely, if ever listened to his music – okay, well not since I was about eight… But that was the first reason he became a celebrity!

Micheal Jackson’s music was verry good.Personally I agree with that. The person I did not care for and never will.
Buying off people seems to bre a way of life for the rich and famous.Take The Cleveland Brown’s player that bought off the family of a man that he killed when DRIVING,when he was high on drugs. He GOT A 30 JAIL SENTENCE AND PROBATION AND LOST HIS DRIVERS LICENCE FOR A FEW YEARS. NORMAL PEOPLE WOULD HAVE GONE TO JAIL FOR AT LEAST A FEW YEARS. SO TO SAY I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THE RICH LOWLIFES,IS A LIE.I DESPISE THESE FOOLS!!!!

It does seem that the rich and famous can get away with just about anything, as long as they can afford the payoff. But my thoughts on that would be that the United States Government along with the general public lets it happen.
