My female beagle, BebaWhat a morning it’s been!

It’s not even ten am yet and already I feel like I’ve put in a whole day, and then some.

My Gram called at 8:30 am to let me know that my great uncle had passed away this morning.  She was so upset she could hardly k, it had hit her hard, even though we all knew it was coming.  I guess we all thought it would be a while yet.

Two years ago he was diagnosed with emphysema, this past summer with lung cancer, which surprised us all by how hard it hit.  He was here nearly everyday while we were building our cheap adipex without a prescription house, and then suddenly in September, right before we were finished, he was confined to bed.

With Gram too upset to make all the necessary calls, it was left up to me to inform the members on our branch of the family tree.  In the midst of all the calls, me still in my jammies, I hadn’t even combed my hair yet, a cialis cheap online hunter knocked on the door.  He had found a lost dog and was trying to find it’s owner.

I was about two seconds away from saying that it could stay here and we would look for it’s owner, because he said he was almost through looking, when he mentioned that it was a female.  Well, that made up my mind for me.  I can’t have a young female beagle around my two un-fixed males.  I don’t think a Jack Russell/Beagle mix puppy would be too hideous, but I fear what a Pomeranian/beagle mix would look like!  But either way, I should have learned my lesson the last time I took in a homeless dog, as I still have the scars from it.

I felt bad, and told him of some people I know that have dogs in the area for him to check with.  I hope she makes it home alright, or at least finds a new home.

Whatever happened to relaxing Saturday mornings in front of the TV?

I feel so bad for the dog. I would probably have taken her in myself and made sure I knew what was going to happen to her. I would have taken her to the no kill shelter if I didn’t have luck with the owners finding her at my place. I don’t trust others enough so I would have just taken care of the issue. Sorry to hear about your Uncle too, that is no fun when a family member dies when they least expect it so soon. I wonder did he smoke?

condolences on the loss of your great uncle.
I am a big softie where dogs are concerned – I have 3 boxers. I started with one, naturally, then took another and ended up with 12 puppies! You probably did the right thing

I felt bad for her too (the dog) but with three un-fixed male dogs in the house, bringing in a female would not have been a good thing. Not to mention that my Jack Russell is very territorial. The last homeless dog I brought home, he attacked it even though it was at least three times his size, in the process I got bit by the other dog. My husband has now forbidden me to pick up strays and or offer to take homeless dogs.

Yes, my great uncle was a smoker, even this summer while on oxygen, he was still smoking.

    Thank you!

I am also a big softy when it comes to dogs. Over the years I have taken in many homeless animals, and placed them with new owners. Unfortunately, the last incident, in October, my Jack Russell attacked the dog I brought home, even though it was at least three times his size, in the process I got bit by the other dog. My husband has now forbidden me to pick up strays and or offer to take homeless dogs.
