Once again it’s Tuesday – you know what that means right? It’s time for the ugly purple button and the random babbling of those of us who can’t keep our heads on straight! So head on over to Keely’s and link on up.
Yesterday was the getting ready for school day for us, the kids got their yearly check ups, my son went to the eye doctor and we finished up our school shopping – at least I think it’s finished – until they remember something else they need, or think they need.

My daughter is so proud of herself, she picked out all of her school clothes (except a few outfits I got while she wasn’t with me) herself, she even found socks to match them, and picked out which shoes go best for each. Yesterday when we got home we had to get everything out that we had brought prior so she could look at everything at once. She’s turning into quite the little fashionista. She can’t possibly be MY child, I live in sweatshirts and denims. Except for the shoes, I do love my heels – even with cialis effects my sweat shirts and denim!
My son on the other hand wouldn’t pick out anything, and everything I suggested he wrinkled his nose at. What does a teenage boy wear when these items are not allowed: sports insignia, skulls, sweaters, bright colors, long sleeves…
He bought 5 identical pairs of jeans, literally just found his size and picked up a stack, and a selection of plain colored t-shirts, a pair of dress pants, two button down shirts to match the dress pants, and four old navy hoodies. Old Navy seems to be the only logo that he can deal with, he wouldn’t even buy the American Outfitter hoodies because of their logo. I hate shopping with and for him, I threatened to call his girlfriend and give her the money for his school clothes to do his shopping, but apparently he doesn’t think she’d buy appropriate stuff either…

I just found out that two more of my friends are attending online schools – is this the thing to do now? Should I really be looking into getting another degree online, just because I can, which is the reason one of my friends claims she’s doing it.
Maybe they should turn our school district into an online school, things aren’t going very well with it, or for it, but that’s a whole other post or series of posts!

We got the whole garage painted this weekend – the outside of the garage, the inside is much too messy to be painted yet. It now matches the new house, instead of the colors of the house that was demolished. Hubby even painted the garage doors like I wanted them, and it looks so nice.
Once again – Thank God that I come from a construction oriented family – as my dad has a power sprayer that hubby used, and it took less than 3 hours for the to paint the whole outside of a 28′ by 36′ garage, with two coats. The doors and trim we had to do by hand, but that wasn’t bad at all.

I also learned this weekend that when you over-process green beans in a pressure canner – they turn reddish colored, but are still safe to eat – just funny colored. I can’t say that I will actually feed my family those 19 pints, but total beans canned this weekend was 54 pints, so we still have lots of green ones.

The great little Marble Racers that I won from Busy Working Mama’s site came in yesterday – they are so cute, and look so neat lighting up on my daughter little car track, the kids played with them all last night, even the big kid that I married loved them.

So what random babblings are floating around buy doxycycline online in your brain?

I can’t even think of buying my kids new clothes for school right now – they can wear their summer clothes still!!
Tiaras´s last blog ..Randomness VS Tantrum
We did buy quite a few summer things too, off of clearance racks. I got my daughter almost a whole new summer wardrobe – for next year – for less than fifty bucks off of the clearance racks.
I didn’t bother with school clothes. He’s a boy. He’ll trash them anyway. I can not WAIT. I have one day. Just one day. I’m already about to snap.
As they grow up they tend to trash less clothes, my 15 yr old son’s actually better about it now than my 7 yr old daughter. I’m not anxious for my kids to go back to school. But my hubby is another matter… He’s home from work today, and I can not wait until he goes back tomorrow!
Yea my hildren are the same way. When they are younger they go through clothes like nothing due to wear and tear and growth. As they hit their teen years they calmed down with the clothes ruining and now have other interests on their mind
Very true! Now he ruins bigger stuff, the lawn mower, the weedeater… Thanks for stopping by!
Good for you for winning from Busy Working Mama’s giveaway. I guess I need to start entering a few of these terrific giveaways instead of complaining that I never win them.
It’s nice to win sometimes – and it’s definitely worth entering!
