Random Tuesday rolls around again…

My dsl just so happened to time out this morning while I was looking at a survivalist website, so I sat and read while I waited for it to reconnect.  It’s kind of scary the way people are talking about civilization crashing and burning and how many people are joining in on the survivalist movement.

How well would your family survive in the world, or just our country, was thrown into chaos?  I’d like to think that my family could survive, we grow alot of our own food, my son is an avid hunter, and gamelands canada pharmacy are abundant in our area.  My canning already this year, along with last years left overs would keep us fed for more than six months, not to mention the freezers are always packed full…

Yeah, how depressing to be thinking about that crap this early in the morning…

Yesterday afternoon my sisters called me in a panic, they were down at our parents house, and my parents camper was letting out an ear splitting noise, yet they couldn’t figure out where it was coming from.  And they couldn’t get a hold of my parents who are working away this week.  I’m not sure why they called me, but I went down and unhooked the propane tanks and the battery, just in case.

I haven’t yet heard if anyone figured out where the noise is coming from, but without power or gas, I can’t believe it’s anything serious.  Besides, their 5th wheel insurance will cover just about anything, my dad has it so well insured.  It’s his “baby”…  But it bothers me not being able to find the source of the noise…

In other bad happenings lately, my dogs keep bringing me dead rabbits, or I guess I should say rabbit bones, I don’t know if my JRT is killing the things, or if the coyotes are getting them and my dogs are just finding whats left or what.  This area has had a major problem with coyotes lately, we can’t even let our dogs out at night without staying out with them.  I’m soon going to let my son start shooting them in the evenings, I believe they are starting to become a threat to my property, or at least to my dogs, so that would justify it – right?

Well, that’s all the depressing crap on my mind today – what random thoughts are buzzing through your brain?

I sometimes think that if the country were thrown into chaos, it would take a while to impact the Small Town. We are pretty isolated. Although, I prefer not to think about it. I can’t help at all with the noise. I know nothing about campers. Good luck figuring out what it is.

I’d like to think the same about our area, but then I think about how close we are to Pittsburgh…

I only think about this stuff when I happen upon it surfing the web, it can really be depressing sometimes!

I broke down and called the camper dealer, their guy was going to come out and check it sometime today. Apparently it got so loud, the neighbors called my sister to complain about it.
