Random Tuesday

Oh, once again it’s Tuesday which means that according to Keely, I’m allowed to babble on about anything and everything that pops into my head!  And everyone knows Keely is always right!  So here goes:

We’ve started to decorate for Christmas, we’ve got one tree up – yet my children think that we should still put the other two trees up – who needs three Christmas trees in one house?

My daughter wants Wii stuff for Christmas.  Last year our son decided at the last minute, that he wanted a Wii.  So we broke down and got it for him.  He’s the one who’s used it the least since we got it.  We got our daughter some Wii games for her birthday at the beginning of the month, the games were marked E for everyone, yet she can’t play them by herself.  Anyone know of any good Wii accessories or games that a seven year old can play on their own?  In other words, games and stuff that don’t require you to read much, as that’s her biggest problem with them.

Last night I made a banana cream pie for dessert, and ended up worshipping the porcelain throne for three hours in the middle of the night.  This morning I got up to see my son eating a huge piece of the leftover pie.  I told him that I think I got sick from it.  His response:  Oh well, I’ll just call you from school if I get sick and you can come get me.  Then he finished yet another piece of it.  I hope like hell that it wasn’t the pie that made me sick!

My daughter is out growing all the clothes we bought her at the beginning of the school year already.  Hmm…  Maybe I should stop making dessert nearly every night…

So what random thoughts are floating around in your head?  Don’t forget to stop over at the Queen of Randomness herself, and the host of Random Tuesday, Keely – The UnMom.

There’s a neighborhood near us that always has great displays. Everybody goes driving around and looking at the decorations. One house that I love has what looks to be a giant tree that spans the living room, the room above, and is poking out the roof. That way you can have your three trees and it will look like one giant one.

    Thank you for your randomness,

There are a few neighborhoods like that around here, I love driving through them! A christmas tree poking out the roof? That would be pretty neat to see!

The kids are pretty good about decorating them, I sometimes have to rearrange the ornaments afterward though because they tend to leave bare spots… Thanks for stopping by!
