Random Tuesday….

Oh, once again it’s Tuesday which means that according to Keely, I’m allowed to babble on about anything and everything that pops into my head!

My husband and daughter have taken over my dining/front room with her Halloween costume that they decided to make this year, and which they’ll probably never finish.  It’s a good thing that I have a new one all ready to go for her, when they decide at the last minute that they’re not going to get done.  They do this nearly every year, apparently there’s something about homemade costumes that draws my husband in, too bad he never finishes anything he starts…

It’s not even Halloween yet, but already I’ve started me Christmas shopping, trying to get a jump on it (which never seems to work, as I’m always out on Christmas eve picking up stuff), which means that I’m stuffing the holiday gifts anywhere and everywhere I can find space…  Too bad the canning jars are crammed in everywhere that I hid stuff last year…

Fall is way past it’s peak here in northern PA, and everything is already getting that drab winter blah-ness…  It’s horrible….

Well, obviously there wasn’t much on my mind today, so go check out Keely and all the other Random Tuesday babblers…

No it isn’t – the problem is remembering what all you bought – and where you hid it! Thanks for stopping by!

I’m pretty sure your husband isn’t the only one never starting what he finishes! It goes with the territory, I’m afraid.

    Happy RTT!

I haven’t even thought about Christmas, other than to remind hubby we really won’t have anything to buy this year. The family stopped exchanging long ago. Was kinda silly everyone bought each the same thing. A gift card from here or there. We decided it was just silly. We all still get together Christmas Eve, we buy for the 2 little ones; my oldest nephew’s kids; but that’s it.

Our daughter recently needed several large expensive things since she moved back to St. Louis; and she asked that we help with said purchases and call it her combined birthday and Christmas. So, beyond the things we want to do the house which will be our Christmas….I’m home almost free. I do make lots and lots of egg casserole so everyone can have that for Christmas morning.

Good luck with your jump start.

Wow, I wish I didn’t have anything to buy this year… I’m not a happy Christmas shopper – especially when they start playing Christmas music in every store. It just makes me want to tear my ears off.

I love it that your hubby gets in the mode to help make your daughter’s Halloween costume – even if they end up not finishing it. Smart to have one on ’stand-by’! :)

I’ve started my Christmas shopping already, too. And I’m sure I’ll forget where I have some of them stashed before the big day… ;)

    Happy RTT! :)

They actually did finish it and she happily trotted around on Saturday (with her dad helping her carry it, because it ended up too heavy for her alone) showing it off to everyone. Unfortunately, people around here just don’t have the same view of the world as my hubby has, and no one really got it. Or maybe it was that no one really took the time to look at it all and get it…
