Three hours spend at the doctor’s office with Gram this morning, half an hour of that due to the fact that she got her appointment time wrong by half an hour, so we were very, very early… Another half an hour of explaining to the doctor why the entire family thinks it’s ridiculous to put an eighty year old woman, whom eats nothing but junk food to begin with, on appetite suppressants… Another half an hour of listening to the doctor explain why the pills she gave her were the best diet pills for her… Then wondering aloud why she would even be trying to lose weight in the first place, started another unpleasant conversation with the witchy doctor… I was so glad to be out of there!
At least the children are over the sick bug that plagued us last week, everyone is back to school and feeling mostly okay for the most part. It seems though that after the flu symptoms disappear, you’re still left with a slight cold, but it’s a big improvement over high fevers and throwing up. Snot I can handle, puke I can’t… I know, I know… TMI…
Hubby’s been trying to get the last of the yard work done before winter really sets in, and the leaves are all past there peak here… The beginning of fall is brilliant, the middle and end are really quite drab… But at least it’s better than everything being white and covered on snow…
Now that you know what random thoughts are on my mind, hop on over to Keely’s and see what’s up with everyone else!

I am glad everyone is feeling better! This is definitely the drab time of year. Here in the Small Town, it will be drab until April. Have a great day!
it’s my first time visiting your blog and i really enjoy reading your post. Your work is very good and i appreciate you and hopping for some more informative posts.
Glad you like it!
I’m glad everyone is doing good. I can’t really understand why they have to put someone who is 80 on a diet. Most of them won’t stay on it anyway. Have a great night! I’m following you now on RSS.

I think it’s ridiculous too, but then I guess I don’t have a medical degree, so what’s my opinion matter? Thanks for stopping by!
