I like this song too. I am not much of a “pop” fan, but I love country, and Taylor Swift is in my playlist along with Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, etc. I usually listen to them after a hot shower in the night after coming back from work, that is, when I’m not listening to my fav Metal songs

Some people categorize the likes of TS, Brad Paisley etc as Country Pop and not just Country.
But yeah, like you said, we are country fans and that doesnt matter.
Like for example, Metal has many genre and sub-genre, like Black Metal, Gothic Metal etc, and even they are further divided into Symphonic Gothic Metal, Progressive Melodic Black Metal, Dark Wave Symphonic Doom Metal etc etc
